Quantum Technologies are increasingly advancing into industrial application. This development happens so fast in some sectors that the demand for Quantum Technology specialists cannot be met by the number of university graduates. The interdisciplinary degree programme is designed to help working professionals to get additional qualifications in the field of Quantum Technologies on an academic level. It provides you with comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of Quantum Technologies on an academic level.

The distance learning programme “Quantum Technologies” is accredited to award the academic degree Master of Science (M.Sc.).

Organisation

The Distance and Independent Studies Center is one of the central academic facilities of the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU). It offers part-time continuing education distance learning programmes in the fields of social sciences, economics, law, natural sciences, and engineering. This includes Master‘s programmes and Certificate programmes and courses in German and English.

RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau was established 1 January 2023 via the merger of the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern and the University in Landau.
